You do not need to know everything before you arrive or be a serious competitor. Come meet the people, see what we do, and discover a sport built around skill, tradition, friendly competition, and community.
New to Muzzleloading?
That’s perfectly fine. We enjoy introducing new shooters to muzzleloading and helping people get started safely and confidently.
If you have never fired a muzzleloader—or it has simply been a long time—we can help you understand what to expect, what equipment you may need, and which club event would be a good first visit.
You are also welcome to come just to watch. Meet some of our members, ask questions, and see what a day at the range is really like.
Your First Visit
- Dress for the weather.
- Bring eye and hearing protection if you have it.
- A chair and something to drink can make the day more comfortable.
- If you have your own muzzleloader or equipment, contact us before your visit so we can help you choose the right event.
